Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions using IBM Q and D-Wave systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature Quantum, IEEE Quantum) and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop patentable intellectual property for next-generation quantum applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit Aer, Quil)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (Amazon Braket, Google Quantum AI)
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental results
