Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for next-gen security systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum machine learning models
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science) and present at IEEE Quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate decoherence challenges
- Secure $1M+ in research grants through compelling technical proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
- Proven track record publishing in quantum information theory
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
- Experience with high-performance computing environments (HPC)
