Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Drive strategic partnerships with quantum hardware providers (IBM, Google, IonQ)
- Mentor junior researchers and establish lab protocols for quantum-safe cryptography
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex computational systems
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU acceleration)
