Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors using topological qubits
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum computing architectures
- Lead open-source quantum software projects with 10k+ developer community
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise PhD interns from Stanford and Berkeley
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU acceleration)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
