Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Design and execute quantum circuit simulations on hybrid classical-quantum platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence challenges
- Publish peer-reviewed research in leading quantum computing journals
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with AI systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Participate in quantum security protocol standardization efforts
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proficiency in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion platforms
- Strong Python/C++ skills with scientific computing libraries
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for diverse stakeholders
