Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum circuits on IBM Q and Rigetti systems
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error mitigation techniques for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit simulators
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
