Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware systems and error correction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world applications
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at industry conferences
- Stay abreast of emerging quantum technologies and patent novel methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through hackathons and internal R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research or industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research or develop production quantum systems
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and cloud quantum platforms
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and passion for pushing technological boundaries
