Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and coherence enhancement
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum software interfaces for commercial and scientific applications
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Proven ability to secure research grants and industry partnerships
