Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms and error-correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead research initiatives in topological quantum computing and quantum machine learning
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with MIT and ETH Zurich on quantum communication protocols
- Translate quantum advantage into patentable IP for commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing federal research grants ($1M+ preferred)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Strong background in superconducting qubit or ion trap systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary research teams
