Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Partner with industry leaders to prototype quantum solutions for logistics and drug discovery
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and at international conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD programs
- Mentor PhD researchers and foster quantum literacy across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Demonstrated success leading high-stakes research projects
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Security clearance eligibility for government partnerships
