Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with physicists to develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead quantum security initiatives for blockchain and encryption systems
- Document quantum system architectures and publish breakthrough research
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level system optimization
- Published research in quantum computing or demonstrated industrial quantum projects
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
