Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into practical solutions
- Research and implement quantum machine learning models for 2026-era applications
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Present breakthroughs at international quantum computing conferences
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary quantum hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects to completion
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
