Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems for 2026-era applications in optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows leveraging cutting-edge algorithms
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with material scientists to engineer next-generation qubit technologies
- Translate quantum research into commercial IP and patent portfolios
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through quantum programming bootcamps
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy thresholds and NISQ-era constraints
- Track record of translating quantum theory into practical applications
