Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development and optimization for real-world industrial problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Develop quantum security protocols and encryption frameworks for 2026's digital landscape
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, superconducting, topological)
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Present quantum computing innovations to executive stakeholders and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction methodologies
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel programming models
- Familiarity with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum simulators
- Published research in quantum computing or demonstrated industry breakthroughs
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile development environments
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum machine learning
