Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting qubits and topological error correction
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications in finance and pharmaceuticals
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum-resistant cryptography
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and coherence times
- Develop quantum software SDKs and developer frameworks for industry adoption
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM QCE conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish in Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction protocols
- Published research in top-tier journals (Science/Nature/Physical Review X) on quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and cloud quantum platforms
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing $1M+ in quantum computing grants or venture funding
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
