Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit optimization strategies
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (2026 roadmap)
- Define security frameworks for quantum-resistant communications
- Present technical blueprints to C-suite and investor stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or equivalent experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system integration
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum concepts to business value
- Security clearance preferred for government-contracted projects
