Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum systems operating at scale
- Lead research into quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era data processing
- Create blueprints for hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption standards
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computational theory
- Publish findings in leading quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Track record of translating quantum concepts into practical implementations
