Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects
- Collaborate with research teams to benchmark quantum performance metrics
- Create security protocols for quantum-encrypted data transmission
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Present quarterly quantum roadmap progress to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into working prototypes
