Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures optimized for specific industry use cases (pharma, finance, materials science)
- Develop quantum algorithms demonstrating exponential speedups over classical systems
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum error correction methodologies
- Translate quantum computing capabilities into commercial product roadmaps
- Present quantum computing frameworks to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum simulation frameworks
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in superconducting qubits or trapped ion systems
- Proven ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical audiences
