Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and engineers
- Optimize qubit coherence times and gate operations
- Research novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and simulation
- Document technical specifications and implementation roadmaps
- Collaborate with industry partners on quantum cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture
- Expertise in superconducting qubits or ion-trap systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum journals
- Strong knowledge of quantum error correction techniques
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
