Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Conduct quantum system simulations and performance benchmarking
- Anticipate technological disruptions and prepare adaptive roadmaps
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in IEEE Quantum or Nature Quantum Information
- Experience with cryogenic systems and photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts to commercial applications
