Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve optimization problems in logistics and materials science
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives to maximize qubit coherence times
- Create quantum security protocols for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Establish quantum computing benchmarks and performance metrics
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq
- Proficiency in quantum error correction codes (surface, topological)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or hardware optimization
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
