Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures leveraging cloud platforms like AWS Braket and Azure Quantum
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists to implement quantum solutions
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies including photonic and topological qubits
- Create fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and materials science
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Strong background in topological mathematics and quantum error correction theory
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel processing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
