Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world commercial applications
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Drive R&D initiatives in topological quantum computing and quantum networking
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Expertise in quantum algorithm development and circuit optimization
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading quantum hardware-software co-design projects
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
