Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies including superconducting qubits and topological computing
- Develop security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum error correction methodologies
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum-cloud hybrid infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance system design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven experience with quantum annealing and gate-based quantum systems
- Strong background in distributed computing and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed conference presentations
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy
