Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and machine learning tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Research and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in leading journals
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum research
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
- Certification in quantum cryptography or quantum machine learning preferred
