Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex computational problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and error correction
- Translate business requirements into quantum computing solutions
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
- Present architectural strategies to C-level executives and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum system architecture or advanced R&D roles
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Demonstrated experience with hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
