Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world problem-solving
- Stay ahead of quantum hardware advancements and adapt architectures accordingly
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
- Document architectural decisions and create technical roadmaps for 2026 quantum milestones
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Strong background in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
