Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Develop scalable AI solutions leveraging quantum advantage for real-world deployment
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Drive innovation in error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to lab's intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep expertise in neural networks, reinforcement learning, and probabilistic modeling
- Publication record in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (NeurIPS, QIP, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
