Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-enhanced neural network architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Lead experimental validation of quantum AI systems using Qiskit/PennyLane
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum hardware integration
- Publish research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF/NIH grant applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or AI research
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency with Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Strong background in information theory and quantum information science
