Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum-AI hybrid systems on our 1000-qubit processors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop novel error-correction protocols
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and low-level quantum assembly
- Published work in quantum machine learning or topological quantum computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants preferred
- Expertise in quantum hardware-software co-design
