Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum machine learning models
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI system performance
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants for 2026-focused initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and establish lab protocols for quantum-AI experimentation
- Translate theoretical research into scalable production-ready solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and quantum machine learning
- Published research in quantum computing or AI (minimum 3 peer-reviewed papers)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
- Strong background in mathematical physics and information theory
- Experience with 2026-era tech stack (e.g., quantum cloud APIs, neuromorphic computing)
