Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI acceleration
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Optimize quantum neural network architectures for real-world applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DoD grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Proven track record of publishing quantum research papers
- Experience with quantum hardware interfaces (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects
