Responsibilities
- Manage multi-line phone system with professional call handling and routing
- Greet patients/visitors warmly, verify appointments, and collect necessary documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Coordinate scheduling for 15+ medical providers across multiple departments
- Process insurance verifications and assist with basic billing inquiries
- Manage office supplies inventory and coordinate facility maintenance requests
- Support HIPAA compliance protocols for patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years receptionist or front desk experience in healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Meditech preferred) and MS Office Suite
- Exceptional multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service aptitude
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
