Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 & 2 Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for internal staff and external clients via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- System Management: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, applications, and network peripherals.
- User Assistance: Offer step-by-step guidance to users, ensuring they are comfortable with new technologies and processes.
- Incident Logging: Accurately document all support tickets, resolutions, and system changes in our CRM database.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine hardware inspections, updates, and minor repairs to maintain optimal office efficiency.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to company security protocols and help enforce best practices among team members.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or customer service.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows and macOS operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-30 hours per week) including some evenings or weekends if required.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
