Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Provide top-tier technical assistance via phone, email, and live chat to resolve software and hardware issues for our diverse client base.
- Incident Management: Log and track all technical incidents and service requests in our ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira) with high accuracy.
- Client Communication: Educate users on best practices for software usage and provide clear, jargon-free explanations of technical concepts.
- System Maintenance: Assist in routine system checks, software updates, and patch management to ensure optimal performance.
- Feedback Loop: Relay critical user feedback to the product and engineering teams to help drive continuous improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date knowledge bases and troubleshooting guides to streamline future support processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or customer service is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Availability: Must be available to work approximately 20-25 hours per week, including some evening availability.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
