We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can troubleshoot complex issues while providing a world-class customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support: Provide remote and on-site technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Installation: Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and network peripherals.
- Training: Educate users on best practices for IT security and software usage.
- Inventory: Assist in the management of IT assets and inventory.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
- Knowledge: Proficient understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time hours, including some evenings or weekends if necessary.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Washington, DC.
