Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Incident Management: Log and manage all support tickets in the ticketing system, ensuring a timely and accurate response time.
- User Training: Provide clear, concise, and patient guidance to clients on software installations, security protocols, and system navigation.
- System Monitoring: Perform routine checks on network infrastructure and server health to prevent downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Feedback Analysis: Gather user feedback regarding system performance and suggest improvements to the development team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to escalate critical bugs and ensure patches are applied correctly.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; High School diploma with equivalent technical certification is acceptable.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or IT customer service.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote desktop software.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week) including some evenings or weekends if necessary.
- Security Clearance: Ability to pass a basic background check.
