Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring health status and administering medications as prescribed.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform patient assessments, including physical exams and vital sign monitoring.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and home care instructions.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Eligibility or willingness to undergo the visa sponsorship process (H1B, TN, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced part-time environment.
- Commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and ethics.
