As a Part-Time IT Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our internal systems, ensuring our employees have the tools they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security protocols.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of end-user devices.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security patches.
- Document IT procedures, incident reports, and system configurations accurately.
- Collaborate with the full-time engineering team on IT infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Relevant IT certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to work part-time (approx. 20-25 hours/week) with flexibility.
- Eligibility to work in the US and ability to support visa sponsorship (H1B, O-1, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
