Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software applications.
- Maintain and update the company asset inventory and ensure proper asset tagging.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of the local area network (LAN) and wireless networks.
- Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing critical issues.
- Conduct basic cybersecurity awareness training for staff members.
- Collaborate with the full-time IT team on system upgrades and maintenance windows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role.
- Valid US work authorization or eligibility to receive visa sponsorship.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic hardware repair.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
