Responsibilities
- Provide first-tier technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN), ensuring high-speed connectivity for all employees.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and deployment of new workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and security logs to identify and resolve potential vulnerabilities.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the full-time IT team on software updates and system upgrades.
- Perform routine backups and data recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, help desk, or technical assistance roles.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to undergo visa sponsorship processes.
