Responsibilities
- Harvest fruits and vegetables (e.g., strawberries, citrus) using proper picking techniques to ensure product quality.
- Load harvested produce onto trucks and transport to packing facilities.
- Operate farm machinery and hand tools, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including weeding and cleaning work areas.
- Follow all H2A labor regulations and employer instructions strictly.
- Work in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Willingness to work early mornings and weekends as required by the harvest schedule.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Previous experience in agriculture or farming is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical strength and ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
