Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for 15-20 monthly events including weddings, corporate gatherings, and cultural festivals
- Manage vendor relationships with local caterers, musicians, and venues
- Develop detailed event timelines and ensure seamless execution
- Conduct on-site event supervision and troubleshoot real-time challenges
- Maintain digital event portfolios and client communication records
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote upcoming events
- Conduct post-event evaluations and improvement analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years event coordination experience with hospitality focus
- Proficiency in event management software (Eventbrite, Cvent)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Deep knowledge of New Orleans venues and local vendors
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays flexibly
