Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment exceeding state licensing standards
- Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and progress updates
- Collaborate with teaching teams to maintain consistent care routines and curriculum alignment
- Document children's growth and milestones using digital assessment tools
- Participate in professional development workshops and team meetings
- Adhere to all health, safety, and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 ECE units or equivalent experience in early childhood education
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) or willingness to obtain
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear TB test and background clearance
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with children and families
- Energy and creativity to design interactive learning activities
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed
- Positive attitude and commitment to inclusive education practices
