Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and inventory management systems
- Develop/implement SOPs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead 15+ cross-functional teams across logistics, procurement, and distribution
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5+ years operations management experience in logistics/warehousing
- Proven expertise in inventory control and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- OSHA 30-hour certification and DOT compliance knowledge
- Experience managing teams of 10+ in union/non-union environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and WMS platforms
