Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the end-to-day logistics, warehouse activities, and supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery and maximum efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
- Process Optimization: Analyze operational data and workflows to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that align with company goals and regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Financial Acumen: Proven track record of managing budgets, forecasting costs, and analyzing financial performance metrics.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
