Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage end-to-end logistics and operational workflows to ensure timely delivery and high service levels.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor supervisors and staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current operational procedures and implement lean methodologies to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to optimize inventory levels and manage supply chain risks.
- Budget & Forecasting: Develop operational budgets and monitor expenses to ensure the department remains within financial targets.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety regulations and internal safety protocols to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and data analysis tools.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively.
