Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage: Supervise daily operations, ensuring productivity targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Resource Allocation: Manage budgets, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless operations.
- Strategic Reporting: Generate detailed performance reports and present insights to senior leadership to guide decision-making.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with logistics software is a plus.
- Leadership: Strong ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues and implement effective solutions.
