Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across warehousing, transportation, and inventory management
- Develop/implement SOPs to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with 3PL partners
- Analyze KPIs and data to drive data-driven decision making
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry regulations
- Mentor 15+ cross-functional team members in performance development
- Collaborate with executive team on 5-year strategic operational planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field
- 8+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics
- Proven expertise in WMS/TMS implementation and optimization
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification required
- Strong financial acumen with budget management $5M+
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI
- Experience managing unionized teams (Teamsters preferred)
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
